A Musical Story of New Orleans Through the life experiences of nine unique and diverse New Orleanians, Nine Lives Live covers the 40-year time span between hurricanes Betsy in 1965 and Katrina in 2005 told in songs composed by New Orleans musician Paul Sanchez and his writing partner, Colman DeKay. This is a special Jazz Fest 2024 performance of the show includes New Orleans musicians and artists who have been part of the album and show since 2011.
